The complete WinImages install is 20 megabytes – and it's probably looking for
all 20, from the sounds of it. There are about 11 megs of "stuff" on those
three doc disks, and they also include the Video For Windows v1.0 installation,
according to the tech people here.
A huge amount of it is text – which compresses extremely well – and then
there's a ton of data (AVI's, animations, which are part of the docs, images,
etc.).
The entire WinImages install is pretty demanding. The F/x executable is about
the size of IM R/t, roughly… 1.5 megs, about. Morph is smaller. Remember that
it has to assume it's going to install Win32s as well…
