Hello David,
if you are based in USA you can get the SCALPEL IPAS from Digimation. SCALPEL
is now in it's final beta state and we think the final release will be
available soon ( —> two weeks?)
As you might know we are based here in germany and we do not only have problems
about the language. The direct support for mm developers here in germany is
like an adventure! Our only contact is via compuserve, the flow of information
regarding development tools or anything regarding 3DS is really near to zero. I
can't remember how often we asked autodesk germany (hallo herr mayer!) for 3DS
support regarding development tools.
What I want to say is that we are now waiting for further information material
to complete our IPAS.
