I think I can understand Martin;s position (as much as I know of it). Perhaps he should sell what he has already done to someone who could finish the project rather than let an 80% complete system lie dormant. I don't know what the logic was behind the buyout of M2Sprint. All I know is that I'm pretty well upset with the purchase of (now) 3 M2 packages and absolutely no support whatsoever. Not even new defs for 2.04. Not even bug fixes (like the fp conversion routines). Benchmark could have been and should have been the TurboPascal of the Amiga, but the marketing was completely botched. It had a lot of potential. Hey, not EVERYONE likes to tear their hair out with C. It STILL could be if the package was supported and updated properly. The debugger is outstanding and the compiler only needs some improvements like optimizations and make it produce standard object files. What's this about a HiSoft Pascal? Have you heard anything?
