#X-Specs3D Stereographics
I've found the Lost Ark of the Covenant!!!
But I cannot find any help programming Haitex's X-Specs 3D Stereoscopic
Glasses.
For the past three weeks, I have been searching and imploring for assistance on
this.
Haitex, the company which created and sold the glasses is defunct. No
assistance can be gained from them.
These glasses plug into a box which plugs into the Joystick port (port2) of the
Amiga. Their theory of operation is simple: using two LCD displays (one for
each eye), the goggles (or glasses) are synched to the Amigas Interlace display
(so that the left eye gets the odd set of scans and the right eye gets the even
set, per se). With this in mind, a complex (at least from a programming
standpoint) ritual is going on between the glasses and the Amiga's video
output.
I would be forever indebted to anyone who has such information. Otherwise, I
will able to be reached at Bellevue under psychiatic supervision (:S
