Hi Sean – No problem. Current recommendations, based on speed and price/capacity, seem to favor DAT drives. The only one my suppliers carry presently is the Python 4GB DAT drive. It has a retail price of $1,400. Be wary of drives promoting higher capacity, since they are probably referring to their capacity using compression which is not appropriate with Flyer video clips. Further, Newtek tells me that with the release of 4.0, there will be a backup utility which will be designed to work specifically with the Flyer's video clip file structure and will probably work much faster than currently available software. Otherwise, most DAT drives and Exabyte systems will provide backup, but accounts lead me to believe they are slower than they have to be.
