I'm hoping for a bit of help in using multiple preference files with ToolManager 2.1. In particular, I'm trying to automatically select a different configuration depending on which Syquest cartridge I have mounted. The docs with ToolManager list the following under CLI Arguments: "When the preferences editor is started from the shell, it uses the following command line template: FROM,EDIT/S,USE/S,SAVE/S,PUBSCREEN/K,DEFAULTFONT/S " I've tried every combination of the shell-activated Preferences I can come up with, including: path:toolmanager path:myprefs.prefs, use path:toolmanager path:myprefs.prefs, USE path:toolmanager path:myprefs.prefs, use path:toolmanager path:myprefs.prefs,USE path:toolmanager use path:myprefs.prefs path:toolmanager use=path:myprefs.prefs and similarly with the SAVE switch. when I type "path:toolmanager path:myprefs.prefs", the editor loads with myprefs.prefs as the current settings, so it's just the USE or SAVE switch that I can't get to work. Other vitals: A2000/'030, 3.1OS, 50M boot HD, 88M Syquest removeable. Thanks in advance. – Rob.. <71212.712@compuserve.com> RBProductions <cyrano@aztec.inre.asu.edu>
