Actually, Sanford, Bones works great with most any mesh. From DXF or not. The thing to watch out for is meshes with bad seams and gaps. Since Bones is doing some major mesh deformation, those kinds of flaws can really screw up your model. BTW – We are collecting cool looking images and models for the CDROM for our 3DStudio IPAS Plug-in Visual Reference book. I know you have done some really amazing images.
