#VIBRANT DRIVERS
We are running a Gateway 2000 P5-75 with a STB Evolution video card and a
Truevision Targa Plus board. We have installed all of the vibrant drivers and
defined the RDPADI driver in the autoexec.bat file as
c:\3ds4\drivers\rdptargp.exp. This driver does exist and resides in the proper
directory. We have been pulling our hair out trying to get our animations to
render through the TARGA board to a separate screen. The TARGA board is
operational as we can use TIPS and other TRUEVISION software. 3D Studio works
with the vibrant drivers as we are able to operate all of the modules of 3D
Studio. However, when we go to render an animation the software does not
recognize the TARGA board. We get a band of scrambled lines (as if the single
is out of phase or syn) across the screen approximately a third of the way down
on the computers monitor. We have set the configure portion of the rendered to
the RDPADI driver and seem to have followed all of the instructions in 3DS4
manual to the "T". Is there anything we could have missed? Any assistance
would be greatly appreciated.
