If your input files do not contain more than 256 colours, the best way to
compress them is to convert them to a FLIC file using DTA or VFD or one of the
many other programs that can do this, then SMACK them using Smacker. Smacker
gives the best compression (it can give fantastic compression), and the fastest
playback. If your images are 24 bit images, bring them into Premier or
something similar, and turn them into an AVI movie using the Indeo compression
system (you'll have to experiment with quality settings). Take that AVI movie,
then convert it into a FLIC using Smacker for Windows, which can convert AVI's
and does excellent colour conversions. Next smack them into a compressed
smacker format then add music. Regards, Andrew
