Very interesting! The most recent word I'd heard on this topic was that Avid
was going SGI. The people who I know who are involved with it on the Mac side,
haven't mentioned NT with regard to AVID at all. Very curious. I thank you for
enlightening me. This is more than a little significant.
On an unrelated note…
I believe I remember you saying that you liked the Intel boards with the Ill
Pro. I tried installing mine on one of my P 90's and the board wouldn't be
recognised. I triple checked that it was seated properly. Procheck ran but that
was it. I also tried it on a standard 486/66 and it worked fine. It had been
running it on an EISA 486. Is there some trick to making it work with the
Intel? I have a revision 10 bios.
