There is nothing currently available for 3D STudio that will produce
spline models. That's why I use Playmation. There is one problem…if you use
Bones Pro you do get some tearing of the mesh suface on a Playmation model, but
it doesn't happen if you use the deform and bend/taper, morph tools in 3d
Studio. I actually model 90% of my work in playmaton, but I don't animate in
Playmation (Animation Master)
