#Amigas on TV!
Just about every scene used an Amiga. The big screen stuff was a Betacam
video tape playback (various sources) into an Amiga with Live!, and then
fed into a second Amiga with genlock to do the data character overlay. The
RGB was fed into a GE video projector. I'm sure you recognized the windows
on some of the computer closeups. The green screen text closeups were an
Apple II. Apparently a Gould 9080 (whatever that is) generated the
wire-frame brain. In the first fifteen seconds there is a brief shot of a
technician with two B7W monitors in the background, and those monitors are
flickering like mad. That occurs when the monitors are not locked to the
film camera, but I don't know how that happened (hey, they could have hired
me if they had wanted too.) Otherwise I didn't notice the stationary bar
either. They did a very good job. No Amiga credit at the end. I shall
have to talk to someone about that. —Mike
