Dave: I'm a fan of Composer, at $149 be sure you are not getting a lite version which is often packaged in sound card bundles. Although the capabilities for floating selections exist in all of your favorite paint packages Composer is the easiest one I've used. My personal opinion is that this program is very CADlike as you move images around like CAD objects. For putting titles on an image or creating a composition of many images (hence its name Composer, doh!) its worth the money. You can save your compositions for future re-shuffling which I find more difficult in Painter, Photoshop, Photostyler and Corel. Bob
