Granted you need to maintain a profesional level to add credibility to your production. But I fell that the advantages to leting the quality level drop a little bit will far outway the loss. So what do I think these advantages will be??? If you let the quality drop a little bit it will allow more people to produce meaningfull video on meaningfull subjects. This in turn will allow video to be used as the educational tool that it should have been used for in the firt place. By keeping the level so high it only allows those that can aford that level of quality to dictate what the mideum will be used for. So far this has led to a slew of sitcoms with the same plots only diferent actors, and of course don't forget the socialy redeeming qualitys of shows like Hard Copy and the rest of the tabloids :-))) Now I don't mean to sound self rightios on this, but I just fell that video or TV will never be used as the educational tool that it should be untill it is put into the hands of a much larger group of producers. Ok thats my sermon for the day :-)))) Any lurkers that fell the need to make a rebutle to it please do. There is nothing like a good debate to better things for all of us. Regards, Michael W.
