Im new here, and have a question generated by a client of mine.
(FYI I'm an architect who also sets up systems, mostly CAD & small networks
with little computer "multimedia" experience, but who is interested because I'm
also a photographer and retired DJ)
I've seen an ad somewhere for an add-in card which implied it will allow a
"LIVE" video image fed from a VCR/TV tuner, etc in a Windows window, concurrent
with other windows apps.
(I think my client wants to watch TV while playing Solitaire!)
Which manufacturers produce such a card?
Does it replace a VGA card or suplement it?
Could one of the video recorder cards, such as Intel's provide this function?
