Can anyone advise me as to what is the best video capture device to use to get decent-quality video into a Toshiba T4900CT Pentium notebook that can be docked to a docking station (DeskStation IV)? I've been reading here about the Intel, FAST, and miro cards; does anyone know how well these would work in this environment? One concern is that the video display is built-in, so I can't connect to a VGA feature connector; I only have one slot, or at most two, available. Also, the Toshiba comes with Indeo installed, but I'm not sure quite what that means; does that mean it's best to use the Intel Smart Video Recorder Pro? I just want to do presentations including decent video from the PC for the present; down the road I will probably want to output to videotape (Hi8m which is what my video consists of). Also, I have read about some PCMCIA video capture cards; does anyone know how good these are for this purpose? Thanks for any advice. –Alex White
