Tom, FWIW There is a product on the market called SimSaver which allows you many options. For instance you can stack 1, 2 or 4 30pin simms into one 72 pin socket. They also have a model which will allow you to stack 2 72pin simms into a single 72pin socket. There is even a model which allows more than one 30pin simm to stack into a single 30pin socket.
