No the system locks regardless of sync source, in this case, downstream from Toaster running mostly Broadcast Titler II. BT2 is particulary good at handling shuttle search situations, by hitting F-10 you put the Amiga's native timing in charge of the genlock, essentially disengaging the software from the process. When you come out of shuttle, press F-10 again and it reverts back to source video timing. BTW I was on the phone to Neriki today, and we think we've narrowed the problem down to a vertical phase adjustment.
