Dale has it about right. Escom was founded in 1983. According to the
latest information I have in front of me right now, they had 110 outlets in
Germany in 1994. They are kind of a German Radio Shack, It is a PC
manufacturer, also involved i nthe distribution and sale of peripherals and
software.
