Well, Escom hasn't actually bought the Amiga.
Essentially, what's happened is that a deal for -someone-
to buy the Amiga has been struck. Whoever meets its terms (and
coughes up the dosh) will take the technology, and that could
still be any of the interested parties (the Pleasance group, CEI,
Escom or the Washington state outfit).
At least, that's my unerstanding.
