Erik, Well, four drives if you want to count DF0:. And I still have room for one more, but so far I've been able to resist the temptation. 8) As for internal temperature, I don't think the drives are generating any more heat than some of the accelerator boards, though that's just a gut feeling. I checked the Maxtor last night after I left my message. Sure enough, it still had the terminators in it. Unfortunately, pulling them didn't make any difference. I will look at the RDB and see if there are any clues hiding in there, thanks. Rick
