Perhaps my choice of the word "criminal" was a bit harsh. However, I do
believe that some Microsoft practices – especially their OEM preload agreements
– were considered to be in violation of anti-trust law. Wasn't that the whole
reason for the settlement in the first place?

I share that opinion. I've encountered several others who do as well. American
government at its finest…
