There is a new mining newsgroup on the internet. It is alt.mining.recreational.
I don't think the procedure for creating it was followed exactly and the result
may be that most sites aren't carrying it. I had to ask my ISP administrator to
start carrying it. It seems like it is mostly being used by rockhounds so far.
You can get to newsgroups here on CIS but I haven't tried it.
