Now I'm not so sure my plan (see below) is so good. I was thinking of installing Desktop Set so that the \DESKAPP directory is on a network drive, and the \DESKTOP directory is on a local drive (or at least a personal directory on the network). Then, the common calendar and phone book files would be shared from a third directory. From the sound of it, this would cause the same problems you referred to above. Would it? Keep in mind that I would purchase the appropriate number of copies of the software for the concurrent user count. Originally, we purchased less than the required number of copies, when , after talking to a sales rep, I was told that the network version would include 3 licenses, and would be available within the month. That was almost 18 months ago. It's time to bite the bullet and buy the individual copies. Then when we do buy the network version (I'll budget it for next year <grin>) we'll have a few extra licenses.
