Rich, dts)arc(.pck is an archive file storing backup information. If you delete it, you won't be able to restore from that disk. On the old calendar file, it sounds like it's being treated like a network file. Go to File/Open, then hold down your ctrl and shift keys while you double-click on the file name. Then go to File/Utilities/Unlock to unlock the records. I'm sending a copy of your message to the programmers so they can research the restore lock up you're having.
