Bingo by George – Thanks. I assume that when you say the information is
available thru the install problem messages that the info is in this forum, but
that OKNA fails to document it. Why do they not post the file with the correct
file name? It is not even zipped.
Anyway, I like many others have about 4 or 5 other PIM managers sitting
on my shelf that always seem to take more time than saving time, which I assume
is the point of a PIM (or more accurately a contact management program) . I
found a program almost as good as this one called UpTrends. However it is DOS
based and requires almost 600K of Ram to run. Which means it is borderline to
even run it in a DOS Window. They have promised a Windows version for well
over to years. And the courts want to punish Bill Gates for "vaporware"! He
is no more guilty than any other software developer.
Well let me see if this fixes some of the oversights and awkwardness of
4.1a. After I get familiar I would like to stay in touch and trade some tips
and problem solving with you as you. By the way, how long have you used DTS? I
just got my original copy about a month ago and imported about 300 contacts
from UpTrends. Nice import interface.
Also think that the attach file is a super feature allowing virtually
any windows program to integrate. I am going to D/L the AMI mactro and
see if that makes it morte seamless. It may not be a tight integration, but
the fact that virtually any Win program can be attached makes up.
Well before I drone on, I'll end and say stay in touch and thanks
again. Russell
