I tried a few more things with Import. I found that if I hit "Ignore" on the task error dialogs (under WinNT), that Import wouldn't die, and would in fact import the data file, bringing me to the assignment screen with all the green text. However, while trying to import a 9,000 record database, I eventually got a "call to undefined dynalink" error, and it only had processed 84% of the data, according to its own dialog. The readme for the patched version says there are network improvements. What are they? It was last summer when Okna said the network-friendly version was going to be integrated in the next release, which as I understand it, has slipped several times. One of the reasons I purchased DTS was this promise of network-shared databases. Now, I'm stuck with copying 7-9 megs of data from workstation to workstation, and only allowing one person to add records at a time. There's also a problem with "hidden" pages that we've seen in both the previous and the patched version. For example, there's a "hidden" page 15 in the "W" part of our book. You can get to it (sometimes) with an Find Exact, but you can't arrow to it from W or X. When we File Doctor without packing, it says it stops on W. If you like, I can send you this database.
