Fair enough. You might want to ask the vendor what else you'd need to do
effective 3D work on the machine he quoted. I don't think that model even has a
24-bit display. Ask them what the difference is between an Indy at that price
and one of the higher end models, to see what you might be missing out on. And
you might compare the specs on that Indy with the Alphas and other processors
for performance vs. cost. New Media and DV Magazine have both run articles with
such comparisons I believe. The Indy may in fact be just what you need. I don't
know. Just some add'l thoughts. 🙂
