Argh! Sure that this message arrive late. I have spent the whole week in NYC and haven't got my Powerbook there. I have a pile of CIS mail waiting now in the in basket! 🙁 Anyway, yes, there are many ways of getting that TIF file on a Syquest. The first thing you have to do is to get your photo app transform that .TIF from PC format to a mac TIFF. Stay away from compression schemes. This will make easier for your client to open the TIFF directly on their Mac (although for sure, they have Shop and they won't have a problem opening a PC TIFF file). Reading a Mac formatted Syquest on PC computers is really easy. It is a matter of just getting the right utility, as you say. There are a couple of Mac<->PC commercial utilities but, hey, what about getting a shareware program that is really good? Try this (just GO IBMFF and enter Mac, disk, PC in the keyword fields or just search for it by its name): "MacSEE 3.20B is the best way for PC users to read/write Macintosh disks. Supports 1.44 Mb and 2.88 Mb Mac floppies, hard drives (e.g. SyQuests), and CD-ROMs. No additional hardware needed. Over 20 translations available. Full version supports rename, delete, make/delete folder, and format. Both DOS and Windows versions included. If you need to get Mac data from a Mac to your PC and back this is for YOU! This product can be registered via SWREG (#1740) for $79.95." The best thing is that it works and you can try it before buying it. Best luck! 🙂 ana /krazy images
