Yes, I could use all the demo gradients from MatEd (and VideoPost, I think). I
picked *.* and then a .GRD file. I rendered some of the animated examples out
to PAR for playback – very impressive!
Although I thought I'd probably never use effects like that myself, I just got
a project that could use it – I need to show a magnetic field for a new
electronic transmission being patented. A rotating radial gradient mapped to an
appropriately transparent object may do the trick.
I really like being able to check out these demo versions.
