Tom: Thanks for your interest in Scientific Amigan, especially the willingness to write programs (hopefully with associated articles)! I think Scientific Amigan's focus will always be on technical application, with Computer Science topics as close to programming as it will get. However, I am entertaining the idea of publishing a programming and general Amiga usage newsletter if it looks like at least 500 people would be interested, with a much higher potential The reason for this spec on subscriptions is, basically, I can't afford to pay for writers on speculation for a second newsletter (so there has to be a minimum level of interest for a certain volume of writing), my contribution would be in layout, distribution, advertising, editing, accounting, general management, and the occasional article (kindof sums up my work on SA, only I write quite a bit for that :-). Please send me private mail with your postal address for a sample issue of Scientific Amigan. If any eavesdroppers out there are interested in the Amiga technical newsletter (system-oriented), please let me know. The only thing holding this up is participation.
