If you are getting a warning of "…Skipping corrupt/extraneous data – no
files extracted" then you definitely have the file LHA in the C: drawer and it
is working. What you are having problems with are corrupted downloads. This is
fairly common when using x-modem (it pads the end of the file and this tends to
garble and confuse the computer). The easiest way is to change the protocol
(you know how to do this as you inquired about y-modem).The problem though is
the libs that you need are called xprquickb.library or xprbplus.library, and
while they are located here on CIS, this does not help you. Do you use a local
BBS? You could check on there for the two libraries (you may get lucky) and
download them from there. These two libs are used exclusively on CIS and allow
you a number of advanced features and should clear up your download problems.
