Garry, Water then alcohol. Water to remove the sugar (which alcohol won't disolve) and then alcohol to remove the water. Hot water is ok…in fact, I'd reccomend the hottest tap water you've got…but NOT boiling water! Once you've done that….shake off as much water as you can, then wash (pour) alcohol over it. Don't use rubbing alcohol…it's usually got some oils in it, isopropal alcohol should be fine. That should remove the rest of the water from the board. I'd also get a can of compressed air (available at a photo supply shop) and use it to make sure the water is out of the sockets. That should take care of things for you. Don
