Garry, I wouldn't go to the expense of bottled water. Don't forget, you'll need enough to disolve the sugar that's dried on the board…it other words, let it sit under the hot water tap for a bit. Also, since you're not going to let the water dry on the motherboard, you're going to rinse it off with alcohol…disolved minerals won't matter unless they react with gold (highly unlikely <grin>) or tin (on component leads).
