Thanks for the synopsis on Carl. Was CAOS an object oriented operating system like NextStep? If so, it just serves as another example of how CBM screwed up. From some things I have seen and read, I think object orientation is going to very very important in the future of computing. With the kind of asset Carl appears to be, the Amiga might have been the leader in this field had CBM had any vision.
