Rick, Thanks for the reply and offer of help. Basically all was well until I upgraded the computer from a 386/25 to a 486/66 in the hope that things would happen faster. The graphics side of things is just fine, only rolls and crawls are affected and in slightly different though both catastrophic ways. I can put togther the roll in the normal way but when I try to run it the machine hangs. It's the same for a crawl except when I try to run it the machine crashes. Every other function works – wipes, fades etc are all fine. The version is 3.1 and it's the original Targa card. <<My 2 sons Noel and Karl were creating graphics on the Targa with Inscriber that Image North were asking "how did you do that?">> Now that's very interesting. Do tell more. One of the reasons that Inscriber is a bit limited is the paint package. I'm using 'Tips' which is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard! I was toying with the idea of buying Corel Draw but can see no reference to being able to save files in .TGA format. Have you found anyway of adopting fonts such as True Type to Inscriber format? Mark. ps. Toronto sounds nice, I've never made it to Canada though some of the heli-snowboarding looks amazing! We're from just outside the city of Dreaming Spires, Oxford. Good to see you Caadian putting your foot down over the Spanish fishing fleets. They're going to wreck our Cornish fleets now that they're allowing into the Irish box.
