Hi James, The EZV2 PC program will work with your setup and two Vboxes but this configuration limits your capability. This program is ideally suited to at least one Vdeck for the source (two for A/B roll) and a Vdeck for the record. With a Vdeck as a source: – use fade effects – control transport speed – editing precision +/- 2 frames – control of audio tracks and output levels With a Vdeck as a source: – display of source & record video on a single monitor – time code recording – PCM audio dubbing with record level control – frame record – audio and video line input selection If you are serious about editing, you will be wise to get at least one Vdeck as source and save the wear and tear on your camcorder which was never disigned to be used as an editing machine. Then you will be able to edit the audio as you wish. The Vbox has a control S output that can be triggered from the program. For this to function as a GPI you need a control S to GPI convertor from Carlson Strand. I recently purchased one and it works great. I will use this to control an MX1. If you need any more info on anything, please let me know. Good luck!
