****** MediaPhile Industrial Video Deck Controller **********************
Interactive MicroSystems, Inc. has just added a new industrial deck cok
controller to its line of MediaPhile products. Designated the MP3.0S/422, the
new unit interfaces popular SVHS, Hi8mm, and Beta decks to IBM and Amiga
computers. Each controller links a deck 9-pin RS-422 port to a com computer
serial port. Companion EDL software, called the MediaEditor, supports up to
seven decks, each with its own controller and computer se serial port.
The controllers sell for $95 each, and MediaEditor is priced at $100. They
provide videographers with a complete A-B Roll editing system including
switcher control and Toaster special effects. Available from Interactive
