If you had visited the BPFORUM or Avid's forums here on CIS a month or two ago, you would have seen me screaming at the top of my lungs the same thing. 🙂 I looked at alternatives, and decided on upgrading to a Composer 1000. I still like Avid's software better than any other I have seen — it was just that the MSP software was so buggy that it was unusable for me. FWIW, I have had several heart-to-heart talks with Avid senior management, and I believe they are aware of the problems and have taken steps in the past couple months to correct them. Not much consolation if you wasted a lot of time in the past, but you might consider that fact if spending for a Cube would dent your wallet as much as it would mine. 🙂 BTW, MC1000 also has real-time 2D effects. You have to go the MC8000 to get real-time 3D effects though. And you could upgrade your MSP to MC1000 for a _lot_ less than dumping it in the trash (as I threatened to do!) and buying something else. – Burt
