Tim, I don't know if I'm too late to meet your deadline. Your last message was over two weeks ago. But here in Chicago there are two locations that are good for Non-Profits. The first is the Chicago Access Corporation. They run five public access channels in Chicago. After taking classes on learning the equipment, Non-Profits and the person off the street can use the equipment and studio for free. This is a multi-million dollar setup. They just installed Video Toasters in their editing suites. The other location in the chicago area is the Center for New T.V. which is a non-profit organization which rents equipment for the prices you mentioned ($25.00 per hour). Although my company is a high-end production outfit, we often do free productions for non-profits. And many companies in Chicago do so as well. I hope your article reaches the desks of many of Chicago non-profits, because I've seen too many pay more for a 10 minute video than IBM.
