I am also curious about more detail – especially, I have learned that Illustrator doesn't use Truetype fonts at all (Adobe and MS are sort of competitors in the font arena, of course). I would also expect that Illustrator output might be pretty much aimed at Postscript stuff, which I am not doing at the present time. I would expect that the next rev of Illustrator might have to run up the white flag and use Truetype fonts, but there is an eerie silence in the Illustrator section of the Adobe forum – I'm a teensy bit nervous at this state – I have nuked Corel except for the actual DRAW program, but I am hesitating on the very verge of sending for my cheap copy of Illustrator – there's not even a press release touting the lastest Illustrator's feature set in the Adobe section – at least not the Windoze version.
