We looked into the big names, consulted a friend who has both, and decided to
get the Accom WSD/XL with 62 seconds of video. Above BetacamSP in quality,
full editing control with our existing editor, transfers frames at
approximately 1.8 seconds apiece either to or from our Sun workstation.
With all the goodies, it's about $25,000 retail. I remember when they were
over $60,000!!!
