Everything will be peachy but we're not talking about a perfect world so why shouldn't I be allowed to question and find solutions to problems? It appears that everyone has got this false impression that I'm out to cut 3D Studio down, which is totally wrong. I consider 3D Studio to be a very good package, but not perfect and if someone said something negative against it with a strong basis I wouldn't jump on their case but instead learn from it. Why is there this tempered hostility towards me for asking such a basic question? The loyalty to rationality factor is way too high. As for getting a power trip from finding a fault, I prefer that Gary know about a problem since I'm sure that he would fix it so that someone else doesn't have to encounter the problem. When it's 4am in the morning and the deadline is today you'll feel a lot better knowing that no unexpected bug throws a spanner in the works. Thankfully the program is so well constructed that this rarely happens which is a tribute to the dedication and work of the Yost Group. I feel that the forum members contribute to the continual testing of the program and this feedback isn't driven by ego or fame but a genuine concern that the program be the best it can and to help others avoid the pitfalls. There has been quite a few different interpretations to my question but for the most part negative. But I don't really care since Gary gave me the most unbiased response.
