AMIGBN/CHOP
Wayne,
Thank you for the assist with the IFF chop problem. I read the messages
between you and Doug Albins, but you were correct. I looked at the files with
FileZa.exe and the last byte in 5 of the 6 I looked at was a 00 byte so adding
nulls would work fine. In the one that didn't end with a 00 adding a null
slightly changed the appearance of the last line of the picture. In either case
the file was then loadable with DPaint, while when one byte short it complained
about wrong format. DPSlid worked with the file too short or too long but I
can't get it to work with MAND.exe pictures until after re-saving them with
DPaint (but that's another story). I was able to get around the first problem
by using Maxicomm and then using Trunc on the file but your method is easier
because it saves having to reboot with the protected disk etc. Again, Thank
you.
