GARBLED MSG
I had the opportunity to pick up a Reactor recently for $50 or so. I was
definitely addicted to the game for quite a while. I was trying to get to the
"meltdown" alluded to by the promotional literature. Then, I ran into Tim
Skelly at a trade show and asked him why I couldn't get to the meltdown. He
revealed that the meltdown was a figment of a copy writer's imagination. You
just kept going to more and more stages. I don't know who was responsible for
that compelling music. I assumed it was Skelly, as he was pretty much a one man
show. Anyway, I never did buy it. Not enough room for *all*the toys in the
world! I guess video games are in something of a revival? So i hear.
