Interesting argument – but too late. I already spent my money on a '386 clone
computer. For less than I would spend makinng a 2000 the way I like I can
make this machine do what I liked about Amiga – except multi-tasking, which
is highly overrated.
Over the years, I have had far less trouble dealing with that 'primitive' IBM
stuff than I have had since buying Amiga. I can make IBMs do just what I
want, in less time, for less money and with more and more solid software.
Volume IS strength. Volume inspires companies to spend the time and money on
getting software RIGHT. If they do, they can make a lot of money. Doing work
for the Amiga is more like charity. It has neat features but is just not a
good SYSTEM as a whole.
