By 'noise' I was indeed refering to larger, jagged objects – not little
dots.
Using digitized video, the picture is quite stable, or seems so. One can
train the eyes not to see a little jiggle.
I must agree with you that it is a disgrace for developers not to properly
support all the video modes the Amiga can offer. The OS is designed to make
that easy.
