IGES
This message turned up in search, but its forum couldn’t be identified from the original transcript, so it may not be linked into its thread.
First of all, I hope you have a very big hard disk. .. IGES files are
verbose. 3 to 10 times bigger than the same drawing in AutoCAD format, I'd
guess. .. I suspect you could do what you propose to do by using DOS to
make a text file that listed all the drawings in a directory (something
like: .. DIR *.DWG>DRAWINGS.TXT .. and then use lisp to go through the
text file making up another file, a script file, that would call up the
next drawing, issue and IGESOUT, quit, and call up the next drawing. ..
