Don't mind the tease at all, but rest assured there's no teasing on my part
regarding system problems. I don't have the time, & I know it would be a
bad joke to waste your guys' time on nonsense. Still, I do appreciate your
challenges.
I just spent a whole day trying to get my system to boot up without a disk.
Turns out a reload of DOS 5.0 did the trick. Corrupted file or something.
Anyway, I stripped out all the extraneous programs (EMM386, ALLY, LAUNCH,
SELDWG, NEWDX, SHROOM) just to start from scratching. It really pops now,
so I have a feeling there's either some sort of memory drain as these
programs get loaded, or maybe a TSR conflict. A one-at-a-time will
hopefully prove to be the taleteller.
At the immediate, though, the only bummer is the (and) function in lisp.
When I initially go in, it works perfect: (and 1 1) returns T. After about
10 min., it returns: error: null function. I reloaded up ACAD, so I don't
see how a corrupted file could be the cause. Any ideas are warmly
welcomed.
Keep the zingers comin'.
Appreciatively,
Jeff
