I think those of us who have delt with Verticom have a few tales to
tell.. Sure it was probably a mistake not to support (without regens) the
autocad display processor, but all programming is the expression of a
philosophy.. and for some app's the twin focus is a better solution than
the nth.. Maybe a letter more directed to their general lack of customer
support, and needs is in order.. with less of the personal touch.. and more
specific instances of how they are driving customers to other products..
And I hate to say it……but the pulldown menus look to me like a
learning tool for Autocad, (and we have this capability with the H16's)…
a properly organized digitizer menu can be as effective except for the
slide displays, and there are work arrounds to that also.. granted when the
graphic display of a computer is busy doing the pulldowns it LOOKS
impressive, but so far I am not convinced that they are that much of an
important improvement.. not yet anyway.. I know that this may be considered
heresy, but what the heck..
Thanks for yor note, maybe a general discussion on the subject of lack of
support is in order.
